The Silver Soldiers Ministry of Zion Chapel Missionary Baptist Church exists to celebrate, encourage, and engage our senior adults as they continue growing in faith, fellowship, and service. We believe every season of life has purpose and that the wisdom, experience, testimony, and faithfulness of our seasoned saints are invaluable gifts to the church and the generations that follow.

Through biblical enrichment, prayer, fellowship, outreach, special activities, and opportunities for service, the Silver Soldiers Ministry provides a welcoming community where senior adults can remain connected, active, encouraged, and involved in the life of the church. We seek to promote spiritual growth while creating opportunities to build relationships, enjoy fellowship, and support one another through every season of life.

Our Silver Soldiers have a powerful testimony of God’s faithfulness. Their experiences provide opportunities to mentor younger generations, share wisdom, preserve the heritage of the church, and demonstrate what it means to faithfully walk with God. We believe retirement from a career does not mean retirement from Kingdom service. God continues to use His people at every age and every stage.

Our Mission:
To encourage senior adults to remain spiritually active, socially connected, and meaningfully involved in the ministry of the church while providing opportunities for fellowship, service, mentorship, and continued spiritual growth.

Our Vision:
To cultivate a vibrant community of seasoned believers who celebrate life, strengthen one another, share their wisdom, mentor future generations, and continue using their gifts and experiences for the glory of God.
