The Food Pantry Ministry of Zion Chapel Missionary Baptist Church exists to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ by helping individuals and families experiencing food insecurity and difficult seasons. We believe the church is called not only to proclaim the Gospel with our words, but also to demonstrate the Gospel through compassionate service to those in need.

Through the collection, organization, and distribution of food and essential items, our Food Pantry Ministry seeks to provide practical assistance while treating every person with dignity, respect, kindness, and love. Each person and family we serve is important to God, and our desire is to create an environment where everyone who comes through our doors feels welcomed, valued, and cared for.

Our ministry extends beyond providing groceries. We seek opportunities to offer encouragement, prayer, hope, and connection to individuals and families within our church and surrounding community. By partnering with church members, volunteers, community organizations, and generous supporters, we work together to help meet needs and strengthen our community.

To demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ by providing food and compassionate assistance to individuals and families in need while offering encouragement, dignity, prayer, and hope.

To be a dependable source of hope and support within our community by helping alleviate hunger, building meaningful relationships, and connecting people with the love and compassion of Jesus Christ.
